Mary E. Rieger, 73, Sandusky, died Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Cleveland on June 23, 1948 to the late Robert and Nellie (Guilfoyle) Rieger.
She was employed by the former Providence Hospital in admitting for 25 years.
She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sandusky, loved boating on Lake Erie, going on bus tours, animals, and enjoyed eating good food.
She is survived by her brothers, Chris Rieger and Robert (Tammy) Rieger, both of Sandusky; nieces and nephew, Kristen Atkinson, Robert Rieger, Amanda Barber, and Andrea Curran; great nieces and great nephews; special friends, Roland and Debbie Brown; and her cat, Queenie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 10 A.M. in Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky. Rev. John Missler will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
