Carol L. Crum

Carol L. Crum 87, residing in Sandusky passed away Saturday evening, March 5, 2022 at Stein Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.

Carol was born on October 6, 1934 in Kingston, West Virginia to the late Donice D. and Ora (Helms) Crum.

Carol attended Sandusky High School and was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Carol was a contractor, building many homes in the area and retired from Ford Motor Company as a heat-treat engineer in 1987 after 30 years of service.

Carol was a member of the Grand Lodge F & A.M. of Ohio Science Lodge #50. He enjoyed Bluegrass festivals; he was an avid gardener, enjoyed working outside, working with his hands and crafting with wood.

He is survived by his wife, Sibyl (Davidison), whom he married in 1957 in Angola, Indiana. His daughter, Terri (David) Kuck of Sandusky; grandson, David L. (Chelsea Blaine) Kuck of Columbus, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Carol is preceded in death by two brothers, Wetzel E. Crum and Morrelle D. Crum.

Friends may call on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 10 AM until time of Masonic services at 11 AM at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #83.
