It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our Shining Purple Star, Melissa Norris, 54, Sandusky, who transitioned unexpectedly on February 28, 2022, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Melissa was born on January 13, 1968, in Sandusky, Ohio and was a proud graduate of the infamous 1986 class of Sandusky High.

Melissa believed in trusting her instincts and knew in 10 minutes if you were friend or foe. It must be said, she never met an argument she did not like, from her 6 Steelers super bowl titles to the correct amount of cheese in Lasagna. Let's not forget about all her catch phrases, including her favorite one "It's my mission to stay Sucka Free!" Yet, her greatest achievement are her children and grandchildren, there was nothing that she would not have done for their happiness and well-being.
