Terry L. Gessner, 61, Sandusky, died on Monday, February 20, 2012 in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky after a lengthy illness.
He was born on May 9, 1950 in Sandusky, OH.
Terry will be remembered for being a very loving man. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 2529, Sandusky. His legacy lives on with his gift of sight through eye donation.
Terry is survived by his sister, Anna (Donald) Johnson, Sandusky; brothers, Norman (Rhea) Gessner, Dean (Su-Cha) Gessner, Kenny (Yun-Su) Gessner, James (Brenda) Gessner, and Vincent Gessner, Jr., all of Sandusky; special friend, Lynn; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent, Sr. and Donna (Meinert) Gessner.
There will be no visitation. Family services will be private. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is assisting the family with arrangements.
