Grace W. (Teasley Allen) Staley, 78, of Sandusky, passed away in her daughter's home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 27, 1943 in Fair Play, SC to the late William and Hazel (Fricks) Teasley.
In her younger years she worked at the Sandusky Police Department as a cook, a secretary at Olan Mills and was also a breakfast hostess at several hotels.
She truly enjoyed BINGO and traveling to casinos - many memories were made on these trips! Grace was a former member of the AMVETS and American Legion. Her greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and special friend to many.
Grace is survived by her children, Vicki Teasley, Betty (Alan) Patrick, Jr., Rose (Chad) Beese, Larry Allen, and Angela Steinmetz; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathryn (Randel) Gibbs and Marie (Andy) Tamburin; and many other loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Staley; daughter, Kathryn Staley; son, Kelly Seitz; grandchildren, Clinton Seitz, Barbara Spicer, Austin Allen; and Miracle Steinmetz; great-grandchildren, Icyss Moon and Angel McKinley; brothers, William Teasley, Charles Teasley, and James Clem; and sister, Charlene Ault.
Visitation will be from 11 A.M. - 1 P.M. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Sandusky Church of God, 1018 W. Bogart Rd., Sandusky. Funeral services will begin at 1 P.M, immediately following the visitation.
