Joseph "Joey" M. Collinsworth, 35, residing in Milan, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022.
Joey was born on August 21, 1986 in Sandusky, OH to Jerry Lee and Theresa L. (Wollf) Collinsworth.
Joey attended Huron High School and EHOVE Career Center. For the last year, Joey was employed at Pallet Source in Norwalk. He enjoyed Bass fishing, and collecting fishing poles and lures. Joey was not a morning person. He had to have everything matching and "just right." His greatest love was his son, Cylas, and spending time with him.
Joey is survived by his son, Cylas Michael Collinsworth; parents, Jerry and Theresa Collinsworth; brother, Cory Collinsworth; maternal grandmother, Sharon Semrau and numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Joey is preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Jack Wollf Sr. and Raymond Semrau Sr; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Ethel Collinsworth and close cousin, Jeff Collinsworth Jr.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at his family home. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
