Barbara K. (Brannan) Fogle

Barbara K. (Brannan) Fogle, 85, residing in Huron, passed away Wednesday evening, March 23, 2022 at The Meadows at Osborn Park following a lengthy illness.

Barbara was born on April 9, 1936 in Akron, OH to the late Harold V. and Lucille L. (Clark) Brannan.

Barbara was a K-3rd grade teacher at Shawnee and Woodlands Huron City Schools for 27 years. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Huron. Barbara was also a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, College Women's Club, Erie County Retired Teachers Association and the Hummel Club.

Barbara is survived by her husband, J. Frederick Fogle, whom she married on July 7, 1956 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Akron. She is also survived by her daughters, Pamela (Wesley) Williams of Sandusky and Carol (Dennis) Mabry of Mansfield; grandchildren, Matt (Beth) Williams, Brian (Tiffany) Williams and Josh (Orenetta) Mabry; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Fran Lachowski and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her half-brother, Charles Brannan.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 Ohio St., Huron. Father Mike Floyd will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
