Mark A. Young, 67, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday evening, April 10, 2022 at Stein Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.
Mark was born on June 30, 1954 in Sandusky, OH to the late William and Ann (Deem) Young.
Mark met his wife, Sheryl at Cedar Point, where they were both animal trainers at the time. Mark continued to work at Cedar Point for 30 years as a ride mechanic. Mark loved spending time with his many friends who will miss the sound of his laughter.
Mark is survived by his wife, Sheryl (Weaver) Young, whom he married on December 4, 1982. He is also survived by his brother, Kevin Young of Streetsboro, OH and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
