Cheryl Hendrickson

Cheryl Hendrickson, 64, Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2022, after a short illness.

She was born April 22, 1957, in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Zellie Hendrickson and Brunell Kirksey-Hendrickson.

She graduated from Sandusky High in 1975 and retired from Ford Motor Company in April 2020 after 31 years of employment. She grew up a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church but was a current member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the usher board.

Cheryl enjoyed reading, shopping, working in her yard, going for walks in the park, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son Anthony Hendrickson, Sandusky, her daughter, Shaniece Hendrickson, Cheektowaga, NY; grandchildren, Cierra Lee, Toledo, OH, Say'Von Lash and Jordan Alexander, Cheektowaga, NY, Najaree Myers, Louisville, KY, Shani Belle Sandusky, and Anthony Newell; great-granddaughters, Aiyanna Williams, Toledo, OH, and Navee Myers, Louisville, KY; brother, Tony Hendrickson; aunts, Fannie Young, Rochester, MA, Natherlee Kirksey, Columbus, OH, and Lottie Jones, Mobile AL; and uncle, Alfred Kirksey Sandusky.

She is preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Albert (Nettie) Kirksey, and paternal grandparents, Charlie (Sallie) Hendrickson.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Eagles Nest Church, 2126 Pipe St., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
