Regan Jonathon Neidler

Regan Jonathon Neidler, 25, residing in Sandusky, passed away Saturday evening, April 23, 2022.

Regan was born on October 4, 1996 in Sandusky, OH to Randy and Stephanie (Durbin) Neidler.

Regan was a graduate of Perkins High School and EHOVE, receiving his Diesel Technician certification in 2015. He had previously been employed at Mark's Trucking & Excavating, located in Norwalk, before recently landing his dream job as an Equipment Operator for Independence Excavating in the Local 18 Union in Cleveland. Regan enjoyed anything outdoors; snowmobiling, boating, camping, four-wheeling, working with his hands, especially on big trucks, and he especially loved hanging out with his buddies. In recent years, Regan traveled in multiple cross-country journeys with the Ohio Relief Haulers, supplying farmers in Nebraska floods with various goods and materials. He will be remembered best for his big smile, heart of gold, and infectious laugh.

Regan is survived by his parents, Randy and Stephanie Neidler of Sandusky; sister, Shelbi Neidler of Sandusky; maternal grandmother, Donna Durbin of Sandusky; aunts and uncles, David (Nadine) Durbin of VA, Susan Durbin of Sandusky, Michelle Durbin of Westlake, Kevin (Amy) Durbin of Huron, Beth (Bob) Mathews of Sandusky and Karen (Rick) Sasack of North Ridgeville and numerous cousins and friends.

Regan is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Durbin; paternal grandmother, Judith Neidler; aunt, Suzanne Neidler and his two good buddies, Alex Tetzloff and Michael Havens.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 12:00 pm until the time of memorial services at 3:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Father Phil Feltman will officiate. A Celebration of Life will follow at the America Legion Post 83, 3615 Hayes Ave., Sandusky. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
