Cheryl L. (Wilson) Boyd, 64, residing in Fremont, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2022, surrounded by her family. Cheryl made the brave decision to be taken off all machines and begin her new journey with God and her loved ones who were awaiting her arrival in heaven.
Cheryl had a stunning smile and a contagious laughter; Cheryl was always the life of the party and never met a stranger she didn't like. Cheryl was married to Edward (Chino) Boyd for 26 years and he was by her side the moment she passed. Cheryl had a gentle soul and was everyone's favorite, but she was quick to stand up for what she thought was right. Cheryl was an amazing cook and loved country music, her morning coffee, playing cards and spending time with her grandkids Javier, Yovani, Adelina, Jaz'mir, Don and Baby Lias.
Cheryl's favorite job was the many years she worked at The American Legion in Sandusky.
Cheryl was survived by her daughters, Misty Perez and Kathryn Green and her brother, Ron "Deno" (Tammy) Wilson.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Jay and Kathryn Wilson, sisters Beverly (Jim) Young, Shirley (Frank) Sullivan, and Sherry Ashenfelter; brothers, Jay "Skeeter", Richard "Fonzy", Gary "Frog", Daryl "Chub" and Jack (Mildred) Wilson. She was also met by her stepdaughter, Brandy and grandchild, Laura Lynn.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 5-7 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
