Henry J. Knittle
December 12, 1922 - May 7, 2022
Henry "Hank" Knittle, 99, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 7, 2022 at his home in Norwalk where he lived with companion, Lauranell Baisden and step-daughter, Grace (Baisden) Leibold.
Hank was born on December 12, 1922 in Berlinville, OH to the late Clarence J. and Edith M. (Wise) Knittle.
Hank graduated Milan HS in 1941 and served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Hank was a truck driver for W.L. Mead and retired from Wenham Transportation. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Milan.
Hank is survived by his daughter, Jayne Knittle of Knoxville, TN; son, James (Sheila Brown) Knittle of Deerpark, TX; grandsons, Keegan (Anna) Knittle of Helsinki, Finland and Tyler (Amber Dunn) Knittle of Forney, TX; 5 Knittle great-grandchildren; companion of 40 years, Lauranell Baisden; step-son, Weldon Baisden of Millersburg, OH; step-daughters, Grace (Eric) Leibold and Sandy (Mario) Ramos; grandchildren, Mario Ramos of North Olmsted, OH, Candy (Michael) Pelton and Ian (Kasey) Ramos; 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Tuttle and former wife, Mary (Bundren) Knittle.
