Judith A. McMahon, 77, of Sandusky, died Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Sandusky and was a life-long Sandusky resident. Judy graduated from Sandusky High School in 1962. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sandusky. She was a homemaker and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by son, James D. (Lynn) McMahon III of Juneau, Alaska; daughter, Julie (Douglas) Ohlemacher of Sandusky; grandchildren, Tia Ruiz, James D. McMahon IV, Kelsey O'Brien, Matthew McMahon, Brandon Ohlemacher, Shelby Ohlemacher, Jaret Ohlemacher, and Kali Ohlemacher; great-grandchildren, Paisley Barnum, Noah O'Brien, Rory O'Brien, and Sabrina O'Brien; brother Robert (Cindy) Schwab; sisters-in-law, Patricia Smith and Sharon (David) Stokely; and six nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. McMahon, Jr., on Dec. 9, 2016; daughter, Jodi L. McMahon on Dec. 29, 1971; parents, Earl and Mary (Doerflinger) Schwab; parents-in-law, James and Mary (Bolyard) McMahon; grandson, Thomas A. McMahon; nephews, Josh Fouts and Matthew Smith; and brother-in-law Jack Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky with the Reverend Eric Bodenstab officiating.
