Carol Ann (Lewis) Cooper
December 30, 1941 - May 19, 2022
Carol Ann (Lewis) Cooper, 80, residing in Norwalk, passed away Thursday morning, May 19, 2022 at Norwalk Memorial Home.
Carol was born on December 30, 1941 in Meadville, PA to the late Frank and Mary (Golembieski) Lewis.
Carol was a secretary at Republic Steel in Cleveland for more than 10 years. While in Cleveland, she met her late husband, Michael and she relocated to Norwalk to raise their family. In 2000, they moved to Milan. Carol was a very active member at St. Anthony's Catholic Church and St. Paul's Catholic Church in Norwalk. She was active in the St. Gerard study group, and with Meals on Wheels. She also enjoyed serving drinks at the Carriage House and being the bookkeeper for the family business, Cooper Hydraulic.
Carol is survived by her children, Karen (John) Logan of Hilliard, Michael (Jennifer) Cooper Jr. of Milan and Matthew (Samantha) Cooper of Norwalk; grandchildren, Evan and Nathan Cooper and Katie and Allie Logan; brothers, Frank (Martha) Lewis of Hamden, CT and Gene (Donna) Lewis of Meadville, PA and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Michael C. Cooper on November 22, 2016.
Friends may call on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 145 South Center St., Milan. Father Francis Mariadas will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery, Milan. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
