Elaine Stockwell, 95, Huron went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, May 20, 2022, in The Meadows at Osborn Park, Huron.
She was born January 31, 1927, in Lorain, Ohio and was a 1935 high school graduate.
Much of her life she lived in Sandusky and was a factory worker during most of her years of employment. She was an animal lover and had a special interest in astronomy. Elaine enjoyed spending time visiting with her special aunt, Shirley Young, cousins, Cathy Carpenter-Trent and her husband Jonathan Trent, and other family and friends.
She is survived by her cousin and guardian, Cathy Carpenter-Trent of Clyde, and many other cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Stockwell and her mother and stepfather Rosa (Rose) and Frank Boden.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 28, 2022, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Pastor Richard Allen Holmes of Harvest Baptist Temple, Clyde will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
