Ann M. (Underkofler) Hermes, 64, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday morning, May 30, 2022 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center following a brief illness.
Ann was born on June 2, 1957 in Sandusky, OH to the late Robert and Virginia (VanHorn) Underkofler.
Ann graduated from Perkins High School in 1975. She was the head teller at Civista Bank for 20 years, before moving to Vacationland Credit Union for where she had been still working for almost 15 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Ann was an avid reader, enjoyed camping, adventures with her friend Lynn, baking cooking with her grandchildren, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, and spending time with her family.
Ann is survived by her children, Jason (Ashley) Hermes of Sandusky, Jeremy (Misty) Hermes of Sandusky and Julianna (Micki Criswell) Hermes of Collins, OH; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Oswin (Whitney), Duke, Devyn, Mack and Laci; great-grandchildren, Rowan and Lennon; former husband, Steven "Duke" Hermes and her beloved dog, Minnie.
Friends may call on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Celebration of Ann's life will continue at her daughter's home.
