Mary Ann (Calabria) Clark
August 6, 1935 - June 2, 2022
Mary Ann (Calabria) Clark, 86, residing in Norwalk and formally of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland.
Mary was born on August 6, 1935 in Sandusky, OH to the late Lewis Calabria and Viola M. Grahl.
In her early years, Mary was employed with Grill Meats Inc, then later owned and operated The Country Tavern, the Sands Lounge and many other various establishments in Sandusky from 1971 to 1992.
Mary's most treasured years were in Ft. Myers, where she was a board member of Royal Woods, where she organized their community holidays and events. In her spare time, she enjoyed shelling, swimming, entertaining, playing Mahjong, and the occasional trip to Bone Fish for Bang Bang Shrimp and Cucumber Margaritas.
Mary is survived by her son, James L. Clark of Toledo; daughter, Michelle (Jim) George of Norwalk; grandchildren, Nicole (Aaron) Spencer of Huron, Joseph (Dana) Gesuele of Bellevue and Katie (Andy) Ostrosky of Toledo and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Liam, Dawson, Connor and Vivian.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by husband, James E. Clark in 2016; two heavenly daughters, and step-father, Richard Grahl.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 9:00 am until time the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Ave., Sandusky. Father Zach Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
