John L. "Johnny" Garlock, Jr. 66, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 5, 2022 at his home.
He was born January 31, 1956 in Sandusky the son of the late Helen (Morton) and John L. Garlock, Sr. On November 29, 1999 he married Brenda (Hunsaker) and she survives.
Johnny worked at Delphi for 33 years retiring in 2010. After retirement he worked at Meijer. Johnny enjoyed watching Cleveland Browns football, college basketball and TV Land especially, Gunsmoke. He liked yard work, reading, fishing, boating and golfing.
Johnny is survived by his wife of 22 years, Brenda; grandchildren that he helped raise, Marah and Mark A. Trautman; step son, Brandon (Cindy) Trautman and grandchildren, Braden and Bridey Trautman; sisters, Kayren (John) Reddaway, Pam (Lynn) Grealy; his fur babies, Jazzy and Blue and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and step son, Mark R. Trautman
Visitation will be 9am, Tuesday, November 8, 2022 until Memorial Service at 12 noon at Sandusky Church of God, 1018 Bogart Rd, Sandusky. Johnny's good friend and pastor, Rev. Bob Nickester will officiate.
The family requests donations to be made to Sandusky Church of God or Erie County Humane Society
