Ronald G. Edwards, 76, of Clyde, died Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Bellevue Hospital.
He was born April 18, 1946 in Findlay, Ohio to Travis O. & Mary Ellen (Schwab) Edwards.
Ron graduated from Arcadia High School and served our country in the US Army as a medic during the VietNam War.
Ron had worked driving forklifts for Moore's, and later worked on the floor at Meade's. He was a member of the Clyde VFW. He enjoyed reading and loved to watch tv, especially Westerns.
On October 11, 1996, he married Darlene (Bennett) and she survives in Clyde. Also surviving are their children: Terri (Dustin) Noftz of Fremont; Chris (Tracy) Edwards of Port Clinton; Ken (Iliana) Edwards of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren: Ron Carman; Robert Carman; Steven Noftz; Kayla Noftz; Justin Edwards; Travis Edwards; Miles Sampey; Cortland Sampey; Ariceli Edwards; and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sisters: Annette Rau; Joyce Peters; and Lois Wright.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00am Friday, November 25, 2022 at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St, Clyde. His funeral service will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens with military graveside services provided by the Clyde VFW & American Legion.
Memorials may be given to the Clyde VFW.
