Kadi Mae (Hardy) Bergstedt

Kadi Mae (Hardy) Bergstedt, 37, of Willard, Ohio, passed away in her sleep on November 22, 2022, at her home.

She was born on May 30, 1985, in Norwalk, Ohio to Douglas Hardy and the late Terri (Vogt) Stevens.

A 2003 South Central and EHOVE graduate, Kadi worked at Star of the West Milling Company in Willard. A wonderful mother, loving wife and supportive friend to many. Kadi was feisty, direct and liked to take charge. She incorporated those qualities into many aspects of her life including her love for Demo Derbies and officiating where you were sure to find her aggressively encouraging the drivers to fall in line.

Kadi is survived by her husband Bart Bergstedt; children, Brynlee Bergstedt, Corbin Barber and Lillian Bergstedt; father, Doug (Margaret) Hardy; stepfather, Mike (Rachel) Stevens; sister, Megan (Oliver) Gibson; brother, Bill (Cassie) Marett; grandfather, Donald Hardy and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her mother, Terri Stevens, Kadi was preceded in death by her daughter, Autumn in infancy; brother, Brent Marett; aunt, Laura Aldrich and grandparents, Phyllis Hardy, and Dick and Mary Vogt.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Huron County Fairgrounds in the EXPO Building, 940 Fair Rd., Norwalk from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Central Athletic Boosters, 3305 Greenwich Angling Rd, Greenwich, OH 44837 or Stein Hospice (Attn: "Camp Good Grief") 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
