Darlene S. (Sexton) Vice, 67, residing in Norwalk, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
Darlene was born on May 21, 1955 in Sandusky , Ohio to the late Russell and Hazel (McCoy) Sexton.
Darlene graduated from Edison High School. She was employed by New Departure (GM), Luster Corp. as well as a Private Caregiver for several years. She also was a Volunteer for Stein Hospice/Hospice of the Western Reserve for several years. Darlene was a member of Victory Temple Sandusky where she sang in the choir. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, watching wrestling, being a dog walker and reading her Bible.
Darlene is survived by her son Shawn (Candace) Vice of Sandusky, her brothers Billy (Joyce) Sexton of Norwalk, and Mark (Rebecca) Sexton of Flemingsburg, Kentucky and special cousin Paula Hornyak and niece Shellie Huey. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She leaves also dear friends Mike and Rita Melville, Bobbi and Mike Tewell.
In addition to her parents, Darlene is preceded in death by her husband Marion (Fuzzy) Vice and her brothers David, Eugene, Ronnie and Donnie Sexton.
Friends may call on Monday December 5, 2022 from 11a.m. to 12 noon at Victory Temple-Legacy 1619 W. Strub Rd Sandusky, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held immediately following visitation at 12 noon also at Victory Temple-Legacy with Pastor Luke Walters presiding. Burial will follow in Perkin Cemetery on Milan Road, Sandusky.
