Mary Louise Behnke, 88, Sandusky, died on Friday, March 9, 2012, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on February 4, 1924 in Sandusky.
She worked for Periodical Publishers and retired from Chrysler.
Mary was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sandusky, and loved to needlepoint, bowl, and travel overseas to Europe with her husband.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Raymond Behnke; daughters, Judy (Ronald) Biby, Sandusky and Patricia (George) Paterson, Minneapolis, MN; son, Thomas (Sheila) Behnke, Sandusky; nine grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Warren (Nadean) Jensen, Howell, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Louise (Maschka) Jensen; daughter, Sharon, in infancy; granddaughter, Amy Behnke; and a brother, Lloyd Jensen.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 3-7 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. in the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Ulrich, officiating.
