Ruth (Gilbert) Worosher, 93, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday morning, December 18, 2022 at Parkvue Health Care Center.
Ruth was born on April 21, 1929 in London, KY to the late Dexter and Mollie (Pennington) Gilbert.
Ruth lived her young life taking care of her siblings. In 1946 Ruth met and wed her husband, Michael. Then moved to California to raise their children. After Mike's passing, they moved to Idaho, then back to Sandusky.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Deb (Bob) Rigg; grandchildren, Katie Gutierrez, Sean Riggs, Rachel Landis, Rachel Stephen; great-granddaughter, Isla Gutierrez and two more on the way; sister-in-law Pearl Worosher, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by husband, Michael Worosher, son, Robert Worosher, and daughter Brenda Erickson, and sisters, Alma Greene, Marie Hoskins, and Grace Greene; brothers Homer, Ray, Howard, Floyd and Frank Gilbert
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 9:30 am until time of funeral services at 10:30 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky with Pastor Donald Greene will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
