Frances Elaine Slack, 74, formerly of Bellevue, more recently of Norwalk, died at Fisher Titus Hospital on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
Fran was born in Monroe, Michigan on November 2, 1948. She was a 1967 graduate of Bellevue High School.
Mrs. Slack was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Bellevue. Also, a member of the VFW and Eagles.
Her hobbies included cooking and collecting cookbooks! She enjoyed reading all the recipes. But her favorite times were spent with her family.
Fran had worked at GE until their closure, then Norwalk Furniture and Specialty Discharge Lighting.
She married Paul G. Slack on December 14, 1968, he survives. Also, their son, Jon Paul (Shelley) Slack of Clyde; granddaughter, Deilyah (Michael) Wheeler and great-granddaughter, Novaleigh are surviving. One sister, Yvonne (Larry) Caldwell survives in Bellevue.
Mrs. Slack was preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Pendleton) and John Chumley.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 30,2022 at Providence Baptist Church from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00 am. The Rev. Dan Duffy will officiate, with burial to follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church.
