Edward R Peggs Jr. 83, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday morning, December 26, 2022 at University Hospital.
Edward was born on March 20, 1939 in Ashtabula, OH to the late Edward and Clarissa (Klabuhn) Peggs.
Edward graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1957. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. Edward worked as a Sales Representative for several different companies through his career before retiring. Edward was a member of Bethel Church, the American Legion Post 83, and Elks Lodge 285.
Edward is survived by his wife, Suntok Kim Peggs, of 18 years. He is also survived by 1 daughter, Gail (Rob) Wright of Savanna, GA; 4 sons, Glenn (Laurie) Peggs of Commerce, MI, William (Julie) Reed of Westlake, OH, Chuck (Jodi) Reed of Lorain, OH, Johnny Reed of Sandusky, OH; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, William (Phoebe) Peggs of Bryan, OH, and Larry Peggs of Ashtabula, OH, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by son, Greg Peggs, and 1 sister, Maxine Moss.
Friends may call on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 10:00 AM until time of memorial services at 12:00 noon at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Sun Jin Kim of Hadol Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Gardens in Huron, OH.
