James W. Hineline, 76, Castalia, passed away, Saturday, December 31, 2022, at his residence.
He was born on July 29, 1946 to the late George E. and Della (Bowers) Hineline Sr.
He was employed by Ford Motor Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1999.
Jim enjoyed boating, walking down by the water, and he always had to have a brand new Ford F-150 blue truck.
He is survived by his three daughters, Wendy (Matt) Frank, Sandusky, Amanda Phillips, Bellevue, OH, and Kimberly Slone, McDowell, KY; grandchildren, Brittany (Zachary) Graffice, Johnathan, Barbara, Auburn, Tyler, Josh, Nathan, Priscilla, Christopher, Tara, Audra, and Aiden; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rose Rohm, Clyde, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Zelma Davis, Harold Geesey, Edna Long, George Hineline Jr., and Doris Wood.
Friends may call on Friday, January 6, 2022, from 12 P.M. Noon until time of funeral services at 2 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Tom Groot will officiate. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Lorenz from the Cleveland Clinic for his care and support through these past several years.
