Sheila M. (Maschari) York, 81, Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the Providence Care Center, surrounded by her children.
She was born on May 8, 1941 in Sandusky to the late Louis and Marie (Burrows) Maschari, and graduated from Sandusky High School.
She was employed by Ford Motor Company for 30 years.
Sheila loved cooking, playing the slot machines going on family cruises and most of all being with her family.
She is survived by her children, Brett (Kathy) York, Brad (Kelly) York, and Maria (Scott) Bechtel; grandchildren, Casey (Ryan) Thomas, Sarah, Jared, Shane, Samantha, Stone, Michenzi, Sheridan, Nichole, Riley and Steven Radabaugh; great-grandchildren, Emma, Knox, Mary Jane, Colton, Lilly, and Jamison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Anne Maschari; sister, Martha Bertsch; and brothers, Michael Maschari and Dan Maschari.
At her request cremation will take place and there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made in Sheila's name to Providence Care, Center, 2025 Hayes Ave., Sandusky or to Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
