Gary M. Hudak, age 62, of North Fairfield, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Cleveland.
He was born March 13, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Stephen J. and Lillian F. Hudak. He was a Vietnam Veteran (1968-1969) and a lifetime member of the D.A.V. While he served in the United States Army, he received the National Defense Service medal, along with the Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal. Gary enjoyed listening to music, playing the harmonica, writing poems, and his beer.
He is survived by his wife, Tawnya M. (Pasters) Hudak of Norwalk, Children: Jennifer Stevens of New London, Robert Champion of Grafton, Scott Champion of Norwalk, Penny Haymond of North Fairfield, Paul Hudak, and Yoanna Hudak of Pennsylvania. Siblings: Ronald, Daniel, Linda, Michael, Diane, Richard, Robert, Cynthia, Roger, and Melanie, and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Brothers: Stephen and David Hudak (Mego), and his Daughter Elizabeth Betty Jean Hudak.
Friends may call on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Bob Hudberg will officiate and burial will follow with military honors at North Fairfield Cemetery.
