Donna M. Reer

Donna M. Reer, 82, of Bellevue passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, January 12, 2023, in the Bellevue Hospital.

She was born March 28, 1940, in Norwalk and was a 1958 graduate of Norwalk High School.

Donna retired after twenty plus years as a secretary for the Flat Rock Children's Home. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She immensely loved each one of them equally. Donna loved Disney and would travel to Florida to spend time in various parks, including Disney cruises. Her hobbies included, reading books, painting, baking, specializing in pecan and cherry pies. She also enjoyed volunteering with lunches at the Bellevue Elementary School.

he is survived by her husband Gerold Reer, whom she has spent forty seven years with; four sons, Rex Telquist of Florida, Sven (Bobbie) Telquist, Paul (Heather) Powell, and Matthew (Amy Foust) Reer, all of Ohio; one stepson, Michael (Lisa) Reer of Ohio; one stepdaughter, Theresa (Phil Brown) Reer of Ohio; grandchildren, Keely (Ronald) Harrison, Thayne (Jordan) Telquist, Kelsey (Ricky) Colon, Cole (Emily Dell) Telquist, Mercades (Joe Prentice) Reer, Titus Reer, Taylor Reer, Dravin Stratton, and Jesstin (Nick Hinsch) Foust; identical twin great grandsons, Lucas and Dean Telquist, another great grandson, Winslow Hinsch; and one great granddaughter on the way; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Gertrude (Martin) McCrillis; and two siblings.

Private family services will be held at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Father Ron Schock will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
