Daniel Robert Dingus, 56, of Sandusky, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a long illness.
He was born on September 13, 1966 in Sandusky to Robert and Sheryl (Lichty) Dingus.
Dan attended Perkins High School. He worked as an auto body specialist and mechanic for majority of his life. He was employed at Sam's Club. Dan attended the Sandusky Church of God. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and gardening.
Dan is survived by his spouse, Terri Dingus; children, Christopher (Amanda), Heather & Dylan (Julia); grandchildren, Madison, Brady, Greyson, Matthew, and Jazzmen; brother, Tim (Angie); and sister, Racheal (Josh); numerous nieces, nephews; and best friends, Jeff K., Jeff R., Greg J., and Captain Dave; as well as his loyal companion, Buddy the beagle.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David.
Dan asked for the family to hold a celebration of his life later this summer with a cook-out.
