One of her favorite memories was when she played Maria in The West Side Story Musical during her Senior year. Sherryl married her one true love, James Edward Balduff, on August 13, 1966. They were married for 48 wonderful years until his passing in 2014.

Sherryl worked at Cedar Point as a teen and drove for Charlie Chips before starting her nursing career. She started delivering babies as a LPN for 17 years and then as a RN for 20 years, working at both Good Samaritan and Firelands Hospitals before she retired from FRMC in 2007. In retirement, she continued to work as an RN at Cedar Point and also received recognition for volunteering at FRMC in their gift shop for 25 years in 2022.

Sherryl was a lifelong, active member of St. Stephen UCC, where she served on the Board of Christian Education, volunteered as a Sunday school teacher and Youth Group Leader. She was later commissioned as a Stephen Minister and joined the Quilters Group. She enjoyed playing in the Bell Choir, singing in the church choir, and serving at many other church events alongside her friends and family. Sherryl enjoyed camping and volunteering as a nurse at Girl Scout Camps. She will be remembered as one who loved singing, sewing, crocheting, puzzles, playing cards, telling stories and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Sherryl is survived by her three sons Randal (Traci) of South Carolina, Mark (Stephanie) of Castalia, OH, and Adam (Jennifer) of Florida; ten grandchildren; Matt (Aya), Kayla (Michael) Luckett, Andrew (Sarah); Josh and Tyler Beekman, Gabe, Grace, Samantha (Jordan) Black, Grant and Sydney; eight great-grandchildren Takuto Balduff, Liam, Tristen & Nettilee Luckett, William & Mae Balduff, Mason and Emerett Black; two brothers, Donald (Christy) Taylor and Robert (Toni) Taylor, brothers-in-law Richard (Mary) Balduff; Larry (Sheryl) Balduff; Paul Veleba; sister- in-law Debbie Balduff and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
