Melba Faye Louis, 68, Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 23, 2012, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on March 10, 1944 in Clifton, TN.
Melba attended Culinary Arts School in Indianapolis, IN. in 1963.
She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Lewis and Cheryle Louis, both of Sandusky; grandchildren, Jonathan Louis Johnson, Na'Jee Louis, and De"Adre Louis; sister, Doris Horton, Indianapolis, IN; and a brother, Isaac Merriweather, Jr., Indianapolis, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Louis in 1978, parents, Isaac and Clarice (Churchwell) Merriweather Sr.; and a great-grandson.
