From Tom Hug to purchasing his own milling machine in 1999 Gene was a true road warrior until retiring in 2008.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Jeanne Kramer and his niece Lena Kramer. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, two sons, Zach and daughter in law, Courtney, their children, Trice, Dade, and June, of Berlin Heights, and Nick of Columbus. Gene was a loving husband, proud father, and loving and patient grandfather. Brothers, Tony (Lynn), of San Antoino, Texas, Roger (Amy), of Kent, Mike (Linda), of Norwalk, Jim (Sue), of Norwalk, and sister Betty, a sister of Notre Dame, of Jacksonville, Florida, sister-in-law Vicki (Adriano) Orrao, and Becky Lawrence all of Norwalk, Ohio, brother-in-law, Scott Stacey, of Andover, Massachusetts, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Stein Hospice for their dedication to their patients and families. They were our sunshine every morning.
