Michael David Quaintance, 53, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, February 20, 2023.
Michael was born in Tiffin, on March 13, 1970.
He graduated from Clyde High School in 1988. He worked at various businesses in the area, now with Chaney Roofing.
Michael was a member of the Green Springs American Legion. He was an avid fisherman, along with liking to assemble models, and remodel everything! He was a great collector and a very hard worker, as well as being a proud supported of the armed services.
Michael is survived by two children, Staff Stg. Scott Quaintance of Green Springs, now serving in Kuwait and Montana Quaintance of Fremont. A granddaughter, Breeze Quaintance and his mother, Gloria (Dinan) Quaintance of Clyde also survive. Two brothers, Thomas and Telly both of Clyde survive as well. His former wife, and mother of the children, Marianne Renzenbrink survives in Columbus.
Mr. Quaintance was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Fred Quainance and infant son, Phillip Matthew.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 2:00 - 5:30 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main ST., Clyde, Ohio. The service will begin at 5:30 pm with Pastor Rose Jones officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 195 or American Red Cross or The First Presbyterian Church of Clyde
