Kenneth Jon Schrader, 75, of Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 1, 2023 following a lengthy illness.
Ken was born on December 15, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to Harold and Bernice (Buescher) Schrader.
Ken graduated from Kenston High School, Class of 1966. He then went to trade school for four years, learning to be a carpenter. Ken owned and operated his own business, Schrader Brother's Construction, for over 40 years. He ended his working career at the Pro Desk at Home Depot. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing: Ken never had a bad day on the lake.
Ken is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Sandy (Nasby) Schrader; sons, Charles, Scott, and Mitchell; daughters, Denise and Julie; and multiple grandchildren.
Ken was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; mother-in-law; father-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.
At Ken's request cremation will take place with private, family services to be held at a later date.
