Dorothy Ann Kubicka, 93, Sandusky, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010, in Parkvue Healthcare Center.
She was born on January 10, 1917 in Chicago, IL to the late Paul and Dorka (Hmrak) Trksak. She married Joseph Kubicka, a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, who worked in the paper industry. In 1965, Dorothy began studies at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She then worked in the Neenah, WI school district as a French teacher. Dorothy was an active member of the United Church of Christ- congregations in Menasha, WI, Madison, WI, and in Sandusky, OH.
She is survived by her sons, Louis (Eryl) Kubicka, Batavia, NY, and Edward (Kristina) Kubicka, Sandusky, OH; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, David Kubicka; and a brother, Daniel (Angeline) Trksak.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be with her husband and son in Neenah, WI. Memorial contributions may be made to The Community at Parkvue, 3800 Boardwalk Blvd., Sandusky, OH 44870.
