Georgianna Yvonne DeNoewer, 85, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 8, 2023 at Parkvue Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Georgianna was born on March 3, 1938 in Sandusky, OH to the late George and Helen (Tyrell) DeNoewer. She enjoyed reading, being outdoors, and most importantly spending time with her family and friends.
Georgianna is survived by her daughters, Teresa Rohr of New London, OH and Sheryl Puder of Sandusky; son, Christopher Steinen of New London, OH; four grandchildren, Sara, Justin, Paige and Jannele; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Penny (Ben) Brummette of Castalia, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Georgianna is preceded in death by her grandson, Will Thompson; sister, Pat Jennings; and brothers, Jim and Pete DeNoewer.
Private family services will take place with entombment following at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron, OH. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory in Sandusky is assisting the family with services.
