Amm "Sonny" Pearson, 65, Sandusky, passed away, Monday, March 6, 2023, in the University of Toledo Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones.
Sonny was born in Flint, MI on June 14, 1957, to the late Earnest and Lura (Ruffin) Pearson. He served in the U.S. Army and was a proud veteran. Sonny enjoyed fishing, watching movies, playing cards, and being with family and friends. He was loved by all and never met a stranger.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Lavern Pearson, four step children, Ebony and Jaylen Alexander, Javarius Glen, and special son, Jarmarcus Reasor; sisters, Ruth Moore, Elizabeth (Myra) Lee, and Alma Pearson all of Sandusky, Fannie Turner, Earnest Stean Pearson, Barbara Tyler, Martha Pearson, and Mary (William) Jones all of Flint, MI.; special nephews, Clarence "Talk" Moore, David "Wayne" Moore, Derek Lee, Paul Moore, and Deshauntae Lee; close friends, Knute, Tracy, Robert and Dennis, all of Sandusky, a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Annie Lura Pearson, Willie Mae Pearson, and Cora Lee Mayfield; brother, David Pearson; brother-in-law, Archie Tyler; nephews, Johnny Ray Moore, Robert Moore, Tristan Pearson, Joe Mayfield and Earnet Myles; great nephews, Praskash Patel, Eric Tyler and Duquavius Tyler; great nieces, Charmeka Sherman and Tashara Toins; great great nephews, Jah'kari Deloach, and Taven Matthews.
Friends may call on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. in Mount Zion Church of God, 1814 Second St., Sandusky. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be made to toftfuneralhome.com.
