Richard "Michael" Cobern

Richard "Michael" Cobern, 34, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly late Tuesday evening, March 14, 2023 at home.

Michael was born on August 29, 1988 in Birmingham, AL to Charles R. Cobern and Carrie Caudill.

Michael graduated from Perkins High School in 2008. He was employed by P&T Products in Sandusky. Michael enjoyed paintball, gaming, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter Makenna.

Michael is survived by his mother, Carrie (Craig Ahlers) Caudill of Sandusky; father, Charles R. Cobern of Clanton, AL and the father who raised him, Bradley Harmon of Renyoldsville, PA; daughter, Makenna Cobern of Wakeman, OH; paternal grandparents, Charles (Mary) Cobern and Sue Cobern, all of Clanton, AL; sisters, Kelly (Brad) Lawley of Clanton, AL and Courtney (Seth) Cobern of Sandusky; nephews, Bentley, Jaxson, SJ and Isaiah; aunts, Angie (Jim) Fleeman of LA and Jennifer Smith of Sandusky; uncles, Terry (Renae) Cobern of Clanton, AL and Brian (Angel) Smith of Sandusky; his daughter's mother, Kayla Morris; and numerous other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clayton and Christine E. Smith, and Jack Caudill.

A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Thirsty Pony in the Palm Tree Room in Sandusky, OH.
