Roberta G. Johnson, 77, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Parkvue Nursing Home.
She was born July 1, 1945, in Sandusky to Adam Johnson and Beulah (Hall).
She worked as a teen counselor for a prison in Jacksonville, FL. Roberta lived a full life through simple pleasures: connecting with friends and family, reading books, taking rides in the country, and listening to music. She had a knack for arts and crafts and volunteered at the Senior Center for many years.
She is survived by her nine children, Diane (Sam) Galindo, Debra (Andy) Gamez, Darlene Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, Dana Lambert, Desiere Gonzales, Damara (Track) Nguyen, Dametria Ramos, and Keara (John) Buckle; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; siblings, Doug Johnson, William Johnson, Rick Johnson, Randy Johnson, and Elizabeth (Tyler) Bybee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Joseph Johnson; sister, Patricia Brown; granddaughter, Brianna Gana; as well as her beloved cat, Gwenivere.
A private service is being held by her loved ones to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.
