Mary Alice Dwight, age 86 of Clyde, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Clyde Gardens Place Assisted Living. Mary was born April 29, 1936, in Bellevue, the daughter of the late Glenn G. and Violet M. (Bach) Good.
Mary was a longtime member of the Clyde First United Methodist Church. She was a part of the Sisters Group at church, and was a former Master Gardener. She enjoyed tending to her garden at home and caring for her cats. She also loved spending time at the Clyde Library where she worked as a Librarian for many years.
Mary is survived by her children: Herbert (Sandy) Dwight of Clyde, Brian Dwight of Norwalk, Douglas "Snuggy" Dwight of Clyde, Mary Lengyel of Wakeman, and Susan Benfer of Sandusky; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Sam Good of Clyde, and Beverly Johnson of Findlay.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by husband, Charles Dwight; brother, Wayne Good; and sister, Pearl Good.
Friends will be received on Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 2:00pm until a memorial service beginning at 4:00pm at the Clyde First United Methodist Church, 510 W Maple St, Clyde, OH 43410.
Memorial donations may be made in Mary's honor to the Clyde First United Methodist Church, or to the Clyde Public Library, 222 W Buckeye St, Clyde, OH 43410.
