Rita M. Bennett, 75, Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at her residence.
She was born in Lodi, OH, on November 15, 1947, to the late Donald and Pauline (Semai) Whitmore.
Rita loved flowers, birds, and watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Guardians.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Tonja) Bennett, with whom she resided with in Sandusky; step grandchildren, Virginia, Michael, and Corey; three great-grandchildren; a brother, William (Janet) Whitmore, Danville, OH; and several nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a twin sister, Rose Mary Boyd.
At her request there will be no services and cremation will take place in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
