Marjorie A. "Marge" Koehnle, 90, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2023, at the Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born on June 16, 1932, in Norwalk, to the late Robert and Clara (Conney) Strimpfel. Marjorie was a 1950 St. Paul High School graduate. She spent all her life in the Norwalk area, living in 3 different houses, all less than a mile apart.
Marge enjoyed arts and crafts, especially sewing, crocheting, and wood crafts. She also liked to play BINGO, look at family pictures, read, and listen to audio books. Marge was an avid camper, often wintering in Texas with her husband Richard. She enjoyed the Senior Center, where she was part of the Age Exchange program, and had gone on several trips. She was a devoted member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where she ran the rummage sales for many years. She cherished any time spent with grandchildren and her great granddaughter, Genesis.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Robert) Ringholz, of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Amber Ringholz (Andrew Howard), of Norwalk, OH, and Derek (Imelda) Ringholz, of Spring, TX; great granddaughter, Genesis Ringholz, of Norwalk, OH, brother, Gary (Dolly) Dick; sisters in-law, "Rusty" Strimpfel and Milly (Fred) Prause, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2004, sister, Frances, and brothers, Larry and Bob.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio, and on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (also at the funeral home). A funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Burial will follow the Mass in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
