Takirah Leara Brown-Skelton, 22, Sandusky, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April, 9th, 2023, in her home.
Takirah was born to Tangela (Samuel) Davis and Keevyn Skelton Jr. on February, 20th, 2001 in Sandusky, OH, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 2019.
"Kira" as she was called, loved singing, rapping, dancing, being on social media, fashion, getting her nails done, and having a good time with her family and friends. She could always be found with a big smile on her face. She was previously employed at Sawmill Creek in Huron, OH as well as the Victory Kitchen here in Sandusky.
Takirah leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Tangela and Samuel Davis, and her father, Keevyn Skelton Jr., her siblings, Uncue (NeNe) Brown, of Columbus, Tykijajuan (TJ) Brown, Keyona (Eddie) Fleming, Iantha (Hyatt) Norrup, and Keevyn Skelton III, all of Sandusky, grandparents, Peggy and Keevyn Skelton Sr., as well as her great-grandmother, Betty Churchwell. She also leaves her 9 nieces and nephews, Adriel, Ashton, Ava, Ayden, Elliot, Kaliana, Karielle (Bella), Taiya, and Victoria, whom she loved dearly as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will all miss her very much.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Debra Churchwell, grandfather, Calvin Brown, great-grandmother, Betty Skelton, great-grandfather, William Churchwell, and her uncle, Calvin Churchwell Sr.
Visitation will be starting at 10am Saturday, April 22nd, 2023 until the time of Takirah's funeral at 12 pm in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky, OH. Minister Howard Carr will officiate.
