Cynthia Gingo, 83, residing in Huron, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born on May 2, 1939 in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Bastien) Bickley.
Cynthia graduated from Sandusky High School in 1957. She worked and retired from Firelands Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a member of the Huron Eagles Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed attending Corvette car shows with her husband, camping and traveling.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Gingo; brother Gene Bickley and his wife Janie of North Carolina; stepdaughter, Pamela Dussell of Sandusky; aunt, Wanda Bastien of Milan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by her uncle, Richard Bastien of Milan and her poodle Tishy.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the support provided by the staff at Stein Hospice and their exceptional care of Cynthia.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 1:00pm in the funeral home with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
