Olive M. Schatz, 106, Sandusky, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, in Admiral's Pointe, Huron.
She was born in Benton Twp, OH on April 5, 1917, to the late Otto and Emma (Nissen) Porath.
Olive loved playing cards, doing word searches, and was a volunteer of St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, OH.
She is survived by her son, David (Freda) Schatz, Sandusky; grandchildren, Chris (Karen) Stone, Cape Coral, FL, Candy Stone, Fort Myers, FL, David Schatz II and Nicole Schatz both of Sandusky; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Schatz in 1985; parents; daughter, Linda (Charles) Stone, 2002; and siblings, Dorothy Wittman, Verna Kline and Ferdinand Porath.
At her request cremation will take place and there will be no services. Burial will be in Graytown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Blackberry, OH.
