Marjorie H. Loroff, age 101, of Castalia, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, at the Willows at Bellevue, following a brief illness.
She was born July 19, 1921, in Bloomingville, OH, to Lloyd and Helen (Burkin) Eisenhauer.
She graduated from Margaretta High School in 1939, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia. Marjorie was the office manager for JC Penny Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1985. She married Henry Loroff on March 6, 1943, and celebrated 69 years of marriage before his passing in 2012.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews; and sister in-law Margaret Loroff.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Henry Loroff; parents; sister Jeanette Meyer and husband Donald; brother Howard Eisenhauer and wife Annie; niece Sheryl Kluding; and nephew Gary Meyer.
Friends may call Friday, May 5, 2023, from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 203 S. Washington St., Castalia. Rev. Kathleen Suggitt will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery. Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
