Betty Sue (Justice) Elkins, 83, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born October 31, 1939 in Pike County, Kentucky to George and Tressie (Thacker) Justice, Sr.
She was employed as a clerk at Kroger for several years. Betty was a member of the Cedar Point Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and talking to people about her Heavenly Father, Jehovah, and his son, Jesus Christ, as well as her hope that the Bible has for all of mankind. Her family remembers that she never met a front porch swing she didn't like!
Betty is survived by her daughter, Jeannie (Don) Michaels, of Sandusky; grandchildren, Miranda Michaels, of Sandusky; grandson Timothy (Shelby) Michaels, of Sandusky; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Alanna, Jackson, Serenity, and one due in September; brother, Rick (Debbie) Justice; and many other loving relatives.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Donald Elkins; siblings, Fern, Brenda, Bonnie, Lester, George, Jr., Jack, Dean, and Gene.
Memorial services will be held at 4:30 P.M. on Monday, June 5 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5014 Hayes Ave., Sandusky. A half-hour of visitation will take place prior, from 4-4:30.
