Edith M. Green, 88, of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her residence.
She was born November 26, 1923 in Huron County, Ohio the daughter of Henry P. and Rosellia (Hosang) Martin. She married Howard Charles Green on November 27, 1943 in Monroeville.
Edith was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Lyme Grange and V.F.W. Post 1238 Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to flea markets. She was employed at the former General Electric Lamp Plant as an assembler.
She is survived by her son, Larry A. Green of Bellevue; daughters, Bonnie (Marvin) Bechtel of Rickman, TN, Donna L. (Hank Swart) Green of Bellevue, Sue Ann (Del Horsley) Bishop of Bellevue; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Corrine (Jack) Criswell of Sandusky and Helen (Delmore) Morgan of Browntown, Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Alfred Martin; granddaughter, Summer Bishop; and great grandson, Gavin Swart.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue and on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until a funeral mass begins at I0 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
