Charles J. Cole, 64, of Bellevue passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 in Cleveland.

He was born April 29, 1947 in Rum Creek, West Virginia the son of Charles and Barbara (Bevino) Cole. He married his wife, Avis (Hill) on July 14, 2005 in Bellevue.

He was employed at Tower Automotive until his retirement and previously worked as an engineer for Norfolk Southern. Charles served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. He was a member of the Bellevue VFW, American Legion, and the Marine Corps League of Norwalk. He was a locksmith, enjoyed working on small engines, and also did handwriting analysis.

Charles is survived by his wife, Avis A. Cole of Bellevue; daughters, Barbara Elizabeth (Timothy C.) Baum of Bellevue, Brandie Antoinette (David) Hayes of Florida, Andrea Louise (Johnny) Kizziah of Bellevue, Chelsie Marie Cole of Fremont. Step children, Anthony R. (Barb) Tuttamore of Sandusky, Sara L. Tuttamore of ; Sandusky, April J. Tuttamore of Perrysburg; Grandchildren, Ciara and Anthony "Bubba" Kizziah; Timothy II and Dustin Baum; Sara-Kristine Elizabeth (Aaron) Holman; and Eric Joseph Hoover, Jr.; Step grandchildren, Elizabeth and Tyler Hayes; Ashley, Christie, and Rachel; Step great grandchildren¸ Wyatt, Ritchie, and Kylie; and one brother, Jerry Melvin Cole of Pennsylvania.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lorenzo Cole and a sister, Janice L. Alderman.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 9 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 11 a.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will take place at a later date.
